Marnie Cutler from Leeds had been a smoker from her early teens. She came to see Julie in October 2007 and a year later in October 2008 she sent this e-mail:

Hi Julie

At the end of October it will be a year since I visited you and stopped smoking.

As I told you at the time I smoked for 52 years, and all it took was one hour of my time and your help.

I feel so much better now I have stopped smoking. I do not have that stale odour of nicotine on my clothes, hair and breath, plus of course I feel much healthier.
